DPS officers and staff respond to the special law enforcement needs particular to a college by working with the college community, using cooperative dialogue, using crime prevention and interdiction methods, and maintaining an adaptive attitude to provide quality service through the activities of a dedicated, educated and responsible group of officers. 

Our State Certified Police Officers are on duty 24-hours a day, every day of the year. Officers patrol all areas of campus, including residence halls, Greek Houses, parking lots, and contiguous streets.
