The mission of Centenary’s Center for Family-Owned Business (CFOB) is to develop programming to support the continuity and health of multi-generational, family businesses within our region of the south. The Center’s seminars and workshops focus on strategic planning, growth strategies, succession planning, communication, as well as legal, management, and financial issues unique to family-owned, closely-held companies.
In addition to serving as an invaluable resource for families in business, our goal is to create and nurture a network of family business owners who can share insights and fresh ideas, and who meet to address issues of mutual interest.
Membership is open to those involved in a multi-generational, family business enterprise in which the majority ownership of the company is controlled by the family. Participating family members need not be employees of their business. Membership is limited, assuring personal attention and maximum interaction among participants.
